“What happens when I die?” “Can anyone really know for sure if they’re going to heaven?” “Where do I get faith and how do I strengthen it?” “What’s the difference between Jesus and God?” “How can I get rid of my guilt?” “Can you really know God or be at peace with him?” “What are the basic differences between religions?” 

     Questions like these can gnaw at us in the quiet of the night. Some people seek out answers. Others don’t know where to begin to find answers so they try to ignore the questions. Isn’t there too much at stake to go through life without the peace of knowing these truths? 

     We offer a way to learn the answers to these important questions about life, family, God and heaven. Throughout the year we hold a “BIC.” This stands for “Bible Information Class.” This simple class allows you to find out what the Bible says by looking at the Bible itself. In an unintimidating atmosphere of slides, notes and simple explanations – participants can learn about life, death, God, the 10 Commandments, Baptism, the Lord’s Supper and how various religions view them. This “no cost, no obligation” class is a great place to ask simple questions with others who are struggling with the same issues as you are. On each night of the week, one of our 2 Pastors will address a new lesson. Dress is casual, light refreshments are available, free childcare is offered, all materials provided – all we ask is that you join us for a couple of weeks to understand whether the class is for you or not. If you decide the class isn’t for you, you can step away without having to defend your decision to do so. So, plan now – invite a friend and join us! Brochures are available at our office. Feel free to contact either Pastor (or church office) with further questions or to learn when our next class is beginning. (This also serves as a communicant membership class at Cross of Christ for those who may be interested – but again, there’s no obligations and no one will be pressured to do so!)
