 Adult Sunday Bible Classes
Remember David and Goliath? Samson and Delilah? Jesus Changing Water into Wine? Paul Teaching in Athens? Those “Sunday School Stories” aren’t just for children. There are tremendous lessons for us adults to learn as we review those Bible History accounts and apply them to our lives today. On most Sunday mornings while our children are in “Sunday School” learning God’s love through those precious Bible stories, our adults/parents gather during the same time in the Chapel to study that same lesson geared toward adults. As our Pastors retell those Bible accounts from the Old and New Testaments – not only are hearts enriched in the often forgotten promises of old, but parents can go home equipped to discuss and apply that lesson with their children all week long. Classes run congruent with children’s Sunday School from 9:50AM to 10:40AM between worship services. Please join us!
Adult Small Group Bible Classes
Small Group Bible studies are an enjoyable, personable way to study the Scriptures, learn about God’s love and grow in our faith. Our Pastors write the weekly lessons and our lay-leaders facilitate the studies and discussions in small groups of 5-10. We typically have 3 trimesters to fit the busy Christian’s schedule – offering groups in the Fall (Sept. – Nov.); the Winter (mid-Jan. – Mar.); the Spring (Apr. – May). For continuity and unity, group members sign-up and stay with their group for the duration of that trimester. All courses and classes are independent of one another to allow for an occasional “absence” without missing out on the flow of that entire series. Some series are topical, others dissect a book of the Bible. As with all of our studies, each class focuses on the love our Savior has for each of us. This exciting ministry has grown significantly over the past years. The schedules of nights, times and places vary. Please contact our office or direct further questions to either Pastor.
Women’s Bible Classes
Throughout most of the school year, we hold a women’s Bible study group taught by a woman for women. Depending on the schedules and the numbers of those attending – often both a daytime and an evening study are offered. Typically topical, this 2x a month study is held here at church in an intimate setting optimal for discussion and learning. Watch our church calendar for days of the week or call/email our church office to learn about the topic or times. We can also put you in contact with our study leader if you have further questions.
